Also I like the non-semi active suspension better since it's having better upgrade options. One can safely go from the 21/18" on the SAR to a 19/17" without upsetting geometry/trail. Just like going from 19" ti 17" on the SAS. But going from 21" to 17" on the SAR will need offset yokes or fork bottom end.

Wet weight another 30 lbs or so with all your fluids. The 1090 makes a peak 127 hp the 1290 160 hp. In off road mode they are both limited to 100 hp. The 1290 a little more peaky in performance the 1090 more tractable. The big big difference is street available HP and the electronics packages on the bike. Best and grippiest road tyre by far in 21/18 size is the Bridgestone A41! Very soft compound on the edges but most importantly very progressive, unlike the snappy continentals. My favorite choice in the pirelli scorpion STR because it’s grippy enough and can do some dirt tracks! #10.
