To get a Jackal mount, you need a Skimmer to travel around the desert in The Desolation. Having a Springer also helps you get up to the platform where the heart vendor is. You will also need 200 Trade Contracts + 20 gold to buy it from Drojkor, Spirit Squall. Complete the heart to get him to sell it to you.
That'll get nerfed. It won't be, the supply increase over time will make it such that the price will drop on its own. If anything it should be 10 per week IMO , making it 10 weeks if you don't buy anything.
Used jackal first, ran around, jumped off to jump on the shrooms, mounted up to the next shroom switched to bunny and ran on my bunny to the one on the ledge, switched mount again and used two jackal jumps to get the last one and the finish. You do need to set some mount shortcuts though. (Mine are like alt + 1 through 6)

They're not existing jackal skins. The back one looks like the lucent sands jackal but doesn't have the stone parts around the body. There's nothing like the other two. You could possibly dye the desert shiba to match the colours of the fox, but the tail is a different shape and the pattern is slightly different too.
the crafting option exists because you need more than 10.000 luck for one level once you reached >150%, so if you wanted to do this with all your +10 luck essences, you would have to double click 1000 times. At some point you'll stop consuming them and just wait until you get to the next artificer station, but there really is no benefit from
The 20 gold for the jackal initially floored me on the expense, but I'm okay with it for what it gives back. It's a one-time unlock too, if that helps at all. 250 for the griffon is a challenge and I shall overcome it in the next week or so (back to work in the daytimes and all that).
The quickest way to complete this is by riding around the top level of the structure collecting blue and orange orbs and then bringing them back to the heart NPC while on the Jackal mount. Killing the enemies above also gives a decent amount of progress.
