Reverse has no syncro. So the only way to do it is clutch down and wait a second or two. Might even be mentioned in your car's manual (I know it is in the Stilo's). Another method is, clutch down, into 1st, and then straight into reverse, as the syncro on 1st would have stopped the bits in the gearbox from moving, so no grinding when selecting

Hello All, I have 2006 Fiat Grande punto 1.4 8v 5 speed dualogic. now its has 140k on the clock and getting some issues on the gearbox/dualogic unit. (Dualogic electric pump was replaced 40k kms back) Recently it has started this weird problem, which is quite dangerous. The gears suddenly change into neutral when i press the break. car was on
I recently bought an used Grande Punto 1.3 multijet with dualogic transmition. The problem is that when it is auto downshifting from 3rd to 2nd sometimes the engine stalls and and I had to restart the engine. No other problems with up shift or downshift. Any suggestions about this ?
Hello everyone I have a Fiat 500 L 1.3 2014. The problem with transmision is some time when i go to start the car, start engine and when i try to put gear 1 on dashboard show again N and gear not engaged. When i try R gear it work fine. So i can not drive because car don't engaged first gear.
