From the ground, measure the height of the center of projectors. Right that number down. Then take the car 25feet back from a wall, and aim/adjust the cutoff about 1.5inches below your measured number for the projector height.

The icon illuminates in the dash - but the lights are still on low beam. I have the adaptive xenons. If i turn off the lights and pull the stalk - the headlights will turn on low beam, not high.
Hi folks, Joined the forum to ask some advice on a project I'm working on. I have fitted bi-xenon projectors in my car that used to use a two bulb set up for the high/low beams. The low main beam halogen bulb has been replaced by an HID bulb and comes on with the usual switch and the high beam
Hello, recently I noticed a problem with my relatively new Touareg 2017 3.0 TDI, the car is equipped with bi-xenon lights. I noticed that when I activate the high beams (regardless of the time of day and light conditions), everything works fine for a few minutes after which the right high beam gets "stuck", it will dip to its lowest height and

Volvo XC Forums 2001-2007 XC70 (V70XC) > Low beam failure - Xenon/HID - 2004. View Full Version : Low beam failure - Xenon/HID - 2004. I didn't want to start a new thread on the topic of the factory xenon lighting for our 2004 Volvo XC70 w/Xenon lighting. I must say that this P2 looks nicer with the xenon headlight assemblies and the DRL city
Earth on pin 2 of the headlight connector and the shutter wire from pin 5 hl connector to pin 41 of my frm module the PL2 FRM II (LED,NSW) date 0609. Coded the CAS VO and FRM VO ( Add $522) and re-coded the FRM with the code data. I added the TRC code data in a attachment. All works fine, Pull stalk is Flash to pass with xenon but no high beam.
Byte 0: From 29 → 23 = change from halogen to xenon bulbs. Byte 2: From 00 → 10 = enable LED DRL. Byte 14: From 3F → 1D = bi-xenon high-beams. Byte 15: From 4F → 0D = bi-xenon high-beams. If he specifically mentions any unique changes for the B8.5 let me know and I can try to transpose them into clear instructions.
My halogen lights are h4 and the low beams are not on when the high beams are. If I want to wire a bi-xenon solenoid I will need to find some way of getting the light to stay on and have the solenoid open when the high beam is on. I have an idea that will work, but it involves a relay which means the lights will momentarily be off when I switch
